What makes Journey, Journey

We’re built around one thing.

Journey isn’t built around a person, a program, or a personality. We’re built around the presence of God. Everything about a Sunday here (the worship, the prayer, the preaching) is meant to make room for Him and to move you from a corporate encounter with God to a daily, personal one.

And it’s genuinely relaxed. There’s no dress code and no pressure. Nobody will single you out, put you on the spot, or ask you to stand up and introduce yourself. Grab a coffee, sit wherever you like, and come expecting to meet with God.

Three things you’ll feel the moment you walk in

01 · Presence

A presence-driven church.

We are not built around any person or ministry. We are built around one thing: the presence of God. Through worship, prayer, and God’s Word, we lead people from corporate encounters with God to daily personal encounters with God.

02 · People

We put people first.

People matter to God, so they matter to us. We prioritize relationship over ministry. We are more intentional about building people than we are about building programs.

03 · Diverse

One body. Many backgrounds.

We are a church of various cultures, backgrounds, and ages. We are all one body, called to be in unity with God and His mission, and called to look like the city we serve.

What to expect

An hour and a half. Worship and the Word.

01 · Length

About 90 minutes.

In total, Journey Church services are about 1.5 hours in length.

02 · Worship

Live worship band.

Services begin with our worship band leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and engage with worship.

03 · Word

An encouraging message.

After worship, one of our pastors will share a Bible-based, encouraging, and hope-filled message.

What to wear

Come as you are.

Sundays at Journey are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

What about my kids

Bring the kids.

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week as they learn about Jesus, and at Journey, we make this a priority.

The other thing we make a priority is your children's safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for the first time you visit. You'll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get your children checked in at Journey Kids.

Kids ministry is offered at every Journey Church service for kids ages infant through Grade 5.

01 Do I need to sign up before I come?

No. The Plan Your Visit form just means a real person will text you before Sunday so you know what to expect. You are welcome to show up on a Sunday without filling anything out.

02 Where do I park?

Parking is free, and there are guest spots near the main entrance. Doors open thirty minutes before each service.

03 What happens when I walk in?

A greeter meets you at the door. No forms, no name tags. Check your kids in at the Journey Kids desk on your way past, grab a free coffee in the lobby, and find a seat.

04 What do you do with my kids?

Journey Kids runs during both services for birth through fifth grade. Check-in is secure. You and your child get a matching code, and if they need you, that code appears on the screens in the auditorium.

05 Will I get singled out as a visitor?

No. We will not ask you to stand up, raise your hand, or wear anything that marks you out. The welcome desk is there if you want to talk to someone, and if you would rather slip in and out, that is completely fine.

06 How long should I plan for?

About ninety minutes. Services are at 9:00 and 11:00 AM, and there is coffee in the lobby before and after if you want to stay and talk.

One last thing

Let us know you’re coming.

It takes about thirty seconds, and it means a real person from our team will be watching for you, your kids will be pre-registered for check-in, and you won’t have to figure out a single thing on your own when you get here.

Tell us you’re coming

Or just show up. You’re welcome either way.
